ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello and thanks for visiting my site.
I grew up in Kentucky and Florida. I met and married my husband, lived all over the country, have two sons and four grandchildren . My husband decided to retire early and we moved back to Florida. There we enjoyed all the benefits that Florida’ sunshine and life has to offer.
Including, what I have rapidly grown to love . The joy of Painting!!
I was fortunate to have a wonderful instructor. First, she taught the basics and then the pure joy of putting dazzling colors together. Creating paintings with all the different shades of greens, yellows and reds that make up the landscape of America. She helped me to transfer my imagination to paper and canvas. Painting has helped me in difficult times and relaxes me all the time!
Since our move north I have been most happy with the friends that I have made and now carry my passion to another level. I have been showing my work at Galleries and Art Fairs and plan more in the future.
I was honored in November, 2006 to have one of my works of art chosen in a juried Art Show, held by the Cincinnati Art Club. When I was living in Cincinnati several years ago, I loved to go and view all the beautiful works of art. Never dreaming that some day I would be looking at my art hanging there on the wall – it was a dream come true.
